Baptism of the new converts: Over 200 participants joined Pearl Haven Christian Church in carrying out various Evangelism programs ahead of its grand openning.

7,140 people in Mbale have made the most important life decision of accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

This was during a gospel campaign organized in the district, East of Uganda, by Pearl Haven Ministries.

The final tally of the decisions for Christ during this evangelism program came following door-to-door personal interactions, large crusades, prison ministry, medical mission, and school missions by the Ministry.

“7,140 people said they want to have Christ as their Lord and Savior. They completed a biographical info card and are being followed up by over 40 churches in Mbale, Uganda,” Pearl Haven Ministries said in a statement on Friday.

“The Lord never ceases to amaze [us] with how He works throughout the world,” the statement read further.

The mega gospel crusade came on the heels of the grand opening of the Pearl Haven Church. “The sharing of the gospel consisted of different ministries. Over 200 participants joined us as we carried out these ministries,” the Church, lead by Pr Wilberforce and Sarah Okumu said.

The Ministry first organized this program in 2011, and, with continued funding from well-wishing US teams, including Evangelists Paul Ortega and John Brattlof, grew bigger and many other churches in the country joined in. By 2017, there were hundreds of volunteers from dozens of other churches helping.
